Monesterio

Monesterio is located in the region of Extremadura. There are various ways to arrive to the town:

The scenic Spanish route: Fly into Madrid and drive down over a day or two to Monesterio. The total drive is just over 5 hours, and there are many towns to enjoy along the way.

The scenic Portuguese route : Fly into Lisbon and drive across over a day to or two to Monesterio. The total drive is a little over 3.5 hours, and there are many towns to enjoy along the way (plus, pastel de nata, yum).

The big city route: Fly into Madrid, connect to Sevilla and drive or catch the bus up to Monesterio. Spend some time enjoying either city. This option is good for the not so confident driver.

Getting around

If confident, a car for this region is always a good idea. However, if you’re here for the Spanish wine, a car may not be your first choice - if so, bus services between hotels and events will be provided.
